Life's Manifesto

Woke up this morning with thoughts racing through my mind. I was just thinking about life and having a conversation, in my head, with the Loving God. I think He sometimes implants these thoughts within me. A manifesto is a declaration about a well thought out topic. It is a creed or a life stance. What is life's manifesto if you will?  I can't get away from the truth that you and I are finite beings. We are like vapors we are here one moment and gone the next. I think about mankind in general and see 7 billion people who will all die at one point in history. Then the cycle will be reborn as new life is brought into the world.

What was meant for us? Were we ever supposed to die? To be honest, I don't believe that the word DEATH was in Adam and Eve's vocabulary when they lived in the Garden. When the Living God created them; his intent was to keep the infinite in nature. Human flesh living forever. He put a special tree in the garden which would have accommodated this feat.

Gen 3:22-24
(22)  Then the LORD God said, "The man has become like one of us, since he knows good and evil. He must not reach out and take the fruit from the tree of life and eat. Then he would live forever."
(23)  So the LORD God sent the man out of the Garden of Eden to farm the ground from which the man had been formed.
(24)  After he sent the man out, God placed angels and a flaming sword that turned in all directions east of the Garden of Eden. He placed them there to guard the way to the tree of life.

Before Adam and Eve's sin, they ate from the tree of life daily.  The special fruit had eternal properties which allowed the human flesh to never age. In fact, the fruits potency was so strong that mankind after this point in time lived to be hundreds of years old. Methuselah, Noah's Grandfather,  lived to be 969 years old. Methuselah's daddy was Enoch the prophet. Enoch prophesied about the coming flood and his son would be used as a sign of the world's coming destruction. When Methuselah died; it rained for 40 days and nights afterwards. Could you imagine living for almost a 1,000 years? Sin slowly started to suck the Eternal life properties from mankind.

God never intended for us to die. Sin brought death and now we are faced with it daily. None of us are promised a today or a tomorrow. We are just promised the Living God's eternal presence before us. God did not want sinful beings to be eternal either. That is why Adam and Eve were kicked out of the garden. Sin separates us from God's eternal purpose for all of mankind. This is why the Son had to come in order to set us back on track with our original purpose. We can only live for the Lord through our eternal nature not through our finite nature. We can only worship him in Spirit and truth. He did not create us to worship Him or to become slaves to His infinite will. He created us so He could unconditionally love us. His purpose is before us and transcends space and time.

We exists currently with two lines. One line by passes the other. One line has no beginning or ending. The other line has a beginning and will have an ending. See the object below.

One day the Finite line will be erased forever. We are eternal beings. We were never meant to be temporary. Time was created by sin not God. Sin continues to suck the fullness of life from us. It continues to control us at our very core. It manipulates and deceives. It pulls us away from our true purpose. Jesus taught us not be caught up in worldly matters in regards to storing up treasure or material things.

Psalm_17:14  With your power rescue me from mortals, O LORD, from mortals who enjoy their inheritance only in this life. You fill their bellies with your treasure. Their children are satisfied with it, and they leave what remains to their children.

Psalm 49:20
(20)  Mortals, with what they treasure, still don't have understanding. They are like animals that die.

Mark_10:21  Jesus looked at him and loved him. He told him, "You're still missing one thing. Sell everything you have. Give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then follow me!"
Luke_12:34  Your heart will be where your treasure is.

We spend most of our life working away, becoming something in the eyes of others, accumulating debt, and seeking other things which will one day fade away.  What is the wise course of action? Spending your life building up an empire in a world which will one day be no more or spending your finite life building up unearthly treasure in a place which has no beginning and no ending? I choose the latter. This is why it is just foolishness to be caught up in petty differences. Families get mad at each other, friends disown each other, workers get irate at their bosses, and for what purpose? We spend so much time on corroded things. Life is short. Our human existence has a beginning point and an ending point. Time tells us that our finite line could end at any point on the line. Life is really that short. Life is meant for something more. It is meant to give to the poor. It is meant to be lived beyond our own selfish reasons. It is meant to be lived in the teachings and truths of Jesus Christ. His complete word. His complete truth.  Mankind has proven from the dawn of time until our present day existence that we will try to distort and live a life contrary to the wisdom of God. This is foolishness loved ones!  We are putting our trust in corruptible things. All of this will one day be gone. One day my life will be no more. I must make the best of my condition. It is the condition of the flesh. It is fading away on a daily basis. I must trust in my eternal Lord. I can trust that He will , at times, bring eternal power to my finite being. Healings, miracles, and other Godly feats are demonstrations of His passion and desire to touch His people in some great way. They help point us to His eternal love and purpose. This finite line, which we live in, is just a training model for the infinite line we will one day be transported to. Everything Jesus taught us points to these truths.

What are you doing? Are you bound to sin, which by the way is finite as well? Are you bound to unforgiveness and hold grudges towards others? Are you overwhelmed because you are not rich enough or you are having to struggle through this life? Fight for the truth. Live your life through the heart of Christ. I can see him now sitting and teaching the disciples and the people around Him. He,who came from eternity's line, would explain to them their eternal purpose. He would leave us with the knowledge on how the infinite can touch the finite until all things have come to pass.

Oh my mind and being is transforming! I can not fully articulate what I am seeing and hearing at this point. I feel like a man who has been transported from his present state to see something else beyond himself.  We serve and love a Living God. Life is much more than the painting on the wall. We have to go beyond the frame and see it!!!! This is our MANIFESTO!!!!
